Model #8364 Black Forest Clock Association, Clock of the Year, 2002
A faithful reproduction from the workshop of Ingolf Haas; this cuckoo clock is as interesting as it is beautiful. The intricately cut filigree case is cut so that the black from underneath makes a striking pattern.
This piece is an exact copy of a clock circa 1870.
The hands, numbers and calling bird are all of solid wood. The weight shells and pendulum are antiqued brass.
The clock comes packaged in genuine recylced or renewable materials, each clock made and packaged BY HAND by Black Forest craftsmen the same way they have been for hundreds of years. The cuckoo bird, hands, numbers, and dancers are all made of solid wood. The bird and dancers move along with the mechanically produced music and cuckoo call. The sound of the bird is produced by real wooden whistles and the music box movement is hand made in Switzerland .
