When the clock strikes the hour the door opens, a cuckoo appears and calls along with the sound of a waterfall and other birds of the forest. After the call, one of 2 delightful tunes will play, celebrating the hour.

This clock is made in Germany for Sternreiter. There is an automatic shut off switch that will turn the sound off during the night.

Even the packaging has old-world charm, as only paper is used. The factory packing is all made with renewable materials. This clock makes a great gift for the young and old alike.
