This enormous cuckoo clock is a masterpiece and comes with very detailed hand carvings of an eagle, deer, oak leaves and a 36 note music box that plays 3 classic tunes. Plays 1 of 3 melodies after the call of cuckoo on the hour, as the musicman emerges from the left door. Gong and cuckoo on the hour and half-hour. Deep carved, antique stain and night shut-off. 2 year warranty.

This model is the largest carved cuckoo clock we have in stock but a larger one can be made to order. Typically it takes the carver approximately four months to finish this masterpiece. Details abound with tiny acorns, squirrels in the trees, and an intricately carved pendulum making this piece a piece of timekeeping art.

The music box from Reuge in Switzerland also makes this piece an impressive mechanical-musical instrument. It plays three different tunes and its 36-note comb allows longer tunes with more melismatic melodies and a richer accompaniment. The same clock is available in a smaller size with a smaller music box. (8397 - 35"x 22" x 12")
