A large hawks sits atop this beautifully carved cuckoo clock. Deep carved birds and leaves with branches. Animated dancers dance to 1 of 2 melodies after the call of cuckoo. 8 Day German Regula movement with gong and cuckoo on the hour and half-hour. Wooden dial, hands, numerals and cuckoo bird. Night shut-off, antique stain and 2 year warranty. Made by Rombach & Haas of the Black forest in Germany.
This clock is an example of the finest carving available. Its lush detail includes birds, vines, leaves, two birds and a brave hawk on the top.
The beautiful clock also holds a large, 36-note music box and long, deep-sounding bellows giving the cuckoo a stately call.
Naturally the hands, bird, numbers, dancers, and dial are all of solid wood. The clock comes wrapped in recycled or renewable materials.
The clock includes a shut-off switch which gives you the option of silencing the cuckoo and music.
