Norwegian Trolls - Discontiued till further notice.

While you're here please review our huge selections of Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks. Another great family heirloom.

These handmade Trolls are designed by Norwegian artist Trygve Torgersen and his grandson, Bjorn Schulze. They are made in Norway of latex and hand-painted. According to Legend they bring good luck and protection while residing in your home.

History of the Trolls

Far to the North there is a long and narrow country called Norway. Amidst dark forests, moonlit lakes, deep fjords and mighty snow capped mountains, you will find the trolls.

According to ancient Norwegian legends some trolls were giants and others were small. They all had long crooked noses, only four fingers and toes on each limb, and most had long bushy tails. The trolls were night creatures, and direct sunlight could cause them to crack and turn into stone.

The trolls lived to be hundreds of years old. Most were shaggy and looked a bit frightening, but they were mostly good-natured and naive.

Even today it is well advised to keep a good standing with the trolls. The next time you go to the forests and the mountains, just remember, they probably mean no harm. But beware. In the twilight hours you are no longer alone.

Then it is only you.....and all the trolls.
