"Get it Together" and "Poor Riches" complement each other. One with more traditional warm tones and woods, the other with progressive modern styling. The gears are made of a complex array of quarter-sawn oak where every four teeth is a different piece of wood with the grain running out from the center. Arbors and posts are precision machined from high grade steel. A variety of bearings are used including glass ball and nylon race ball bearings, oil impregnated bronze bushings, and traditional brass bushings. The gear teeth are designed by computer and are theoretically correct Epicycloids providing the ultimate in smooth operation and accuracy.
Lignum Clock Company's computer controlled automated machinery cuts the gears with extreme accuracy while much of the finishing is still done the old fashioned way, by hand.
