This Black Forest house cuckoo clock has a chimney and hand spliced wooden shingle roof. The woman and children are animated and move during the call of cuckoo. The house is decorated with edelweiss flowers and has two hand carved trees on each side. This is a country scene with children, woman and ducks.
The cuckoo clock uses the German Regula movement number 25 which must be wound daily and is easy to service. Two cast iron pine cones drive the movement by applying gravity to the tarnish resistant chain which applies power to the movement. There is a night shut off switch for quiet time and night use.
This clock is made by Anton Schneider in Schonach, Germany and has a full two year warranty.
