This cuckoo clock has very detailed carvings of leaves, vines, and birds surrounding a Black Forest cottage. The fence around the cottage is full of heavily carved brambles and grapevines.
The mechanical brass movement is driven by two weights and time escapes with each tick of the pendulum. The cuckoo call sound is made by two wooden whistles with bellows inside the clock case. This clock is made in the Black Forest by Rombach und Haas.
