This curved roof Black Forest house cuckoo clock features an animated beer drinker and is made by Anton Schneider. This fine cuckoo clock has hand spliced shingle roof and intricate details such as balcony, Tudor design and hand carved trees. The trusty dog is standing watch next to the water fountain.
The clock is powered by a German Regula number 25 movement which must be wound daily. Two cast iron pine cones apply gravity to the tarnish resistant chains which drive the movement, time and cuckoo call. The cuckoo call is made by two bellows mounted on top of whistles that are actuated by wires. The dial, numerals, hands and cuckoo bird are all made of wood. There is a night shut off switch for quiet time and night use. This fine cuckoo clock is made in Schonach, Germany.
This clock is also made with a movement that must be wound weekly. Please visit model #8T 1673/9.
