This Anton Schneider cuckoo clock has very carvings of the bird on the crest and maple leaves. This clock is made in Schonach Germany. It is very detailed hand-carvings and a rich almond finish.
The cuckoo clock is decorated with one hand-carved bird that sits on both top amongst the carved grape leaves and branches.
This cuckoo clock uses the brass, German Regula #34 mechanical movement which is very reliable and easy to service. The dial, numerals, hands and cuckoo bird are all made of wood to accent the clock. There are two cast iron weights that run the clock. They hang on a hook at the end of a chain which runs over the gears providing energy to the clock mechanism. The chains are made of tarnish resistant brass.
At night time or for quiet hours there is a manual night shut-off switch on the left side of the clock. This cuckoo clock is covered by a 2 year warranty.
