This hand-carved masterpiece has 3 birds and 7 leaves. The quartz movment is one of the most accurate mechanisms made today. After the call of cuckoo the clock will play one of twelve German folk melodies. Quartz movements are battery powered and the clock will run for about a year before the batteries need to be changed. The dial and hands are also made of wood to accent the clock. There are two ornamental weights to give it a real cuckoo clock look.
At night time or for quiet hours there is a night shut-off switch on the left side of the clock. This cuckoo clock is covered by a 2 year warranty.
Model #Q 112/9 Cuckoo Clock with Antique Stain
Music plays after the call of cuckoo, a different song each hour, mainly German folk songs. Melodies are not guaranteed, and subject to change, but currently include:
I don't know what it means
Oh my Darling
My father was a wanderer
Listen what walks in from outdoors
Up the mountain in the morning dew
In the green forest where the thrush sings
Oh Donna Clara
Black-brown is the hazelnut
Cuckoo, Cuckoo's calls from the forest
All the birds are already there
There is a mill in the Black Forest valley
A bird wanted to get married
