The model #96/9 Animated Cuckoo Clock from Anton Schneider is hand carved and features 5 leaves and 1 bird that sit atop the crest. There are also 2 animated birds at the bottom which move during the call of cuckoo to feed the nest at the bottom middle. It measures 11.8 inches tall.

This cuckoo clock uses the #25 German Regula one day movement, which means it must be wound daily. This movement is run by gravity which is driven by two cast iron weights which apply weight to a brass chain which is threaded thru the movement and over the drive gears.

The cuckoo clock has wooden dial, numerals, hands and a wooden cuckoo bird which calls the hour and calls once on the half-hour. All the wood work is colored in antique stain and there is a night shut off switch to silence the cuckoo call at night or any other time you do not want to hear the clock call cuckoo. This clock is an authentic Black Forest Cuckoo Clock which comes with the VDS Certificate of Authenticity and a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.
