Traditional leaf & bird, quartz cuckoo clock with hand-painted flowers, musical, model #Q 90/10. This cuckoo clock is made by Anton Schneider in Schonach Germany. The clock is made of hand-carved lindenwood with branches, leaves and a single bird sitting on the crest. This clock is battery powered and uses 3 C-Size batteries.
At the top of the hour the cuckoo bird springs into action and calls the hour with an echo in the background. The bird then retreats back into the clock and the door slaps shut behind followed by music that plays. Melodies are of a different song each hour, mainly German folk songs. This beautiful battery powered cuckoo clock is hand-carved just as the mechanical cuckoos. The clock is 11.8" Tall x 7.9" Wide and 6.3" Deep. Hand-painted flowers are added to enhance the beauty of this fine cuckoo clock.

Music plays after the call of cuckoo, a different song each hour, mainly German folk songs. Melodies are not guaranteed, and subject to change, but currently include:
I don't know what it means
Oh my Darling
My father was a wanderer
Listen what walks in from outdoors
Up the mountain in the morning dew
In the green forest where the thrush sings
Oh Donna Clara
Black-brown is the hazelnut
Cuckoo, Cuckoo's calls from the forest
All the birds are already there
There is a mill in the Black Forest valley
A bird wanted to get married
