The Boston boasts pure elegance. Strong and simple lines and the finest cabinetry show off a visible mechanical movement. Although the overall design is simple, this case has many details. The case includes burled and piano-finished accents, grooved edges and it is all made with the finest hardwoods. The clock is available in mahogany finish (this clock) as well as a deep French walnut and natural cherry. There are four pieces of beveled glass allowing a view of the polished movement and its chiming mechanism. The clock chimes the Westminster melody on four highly-polished brass bells. The dial is an easy-to-read white dial with gold-embossed numbers and Breguet-styled hands. This fine clock has the added complication of a large, two-digit date readout at the center of the dial. A great clock for a large desk or mantel.
